ABOUT OUR KARATE SCHOOL

American Warrior Arts offers traditional Martial Art classes for ages 3 through adults. Classes are designed to teach the everyday person self-defense in a fun and lighthearted way, but also gives them the chance to embark on the path of a true American Warrior. It focuses on the individual and their personal strengths and weaknesses in order to give them the best fighting chance to keep themselves and their families safe. Students will learn a style that forces them to use not only their body but also their mind. It combines the teachings of traditional Hapkido and Ninpo Taijutsu to create a well-rounded style that incorporates modern-day weaponry to form a complete and practical self-defense system. All students will learn discipline, respect, and control, in order to help them on their own path towards betterment and self-improvement.

Began his Martial Arts training in 2014 when he was 10 years-old at American Warrior Arts under Master and Founder Richard Hansen. Over the years, he has trained in both Hapkido and Ninpo Taijutsu. He got his 3rd-degree brown belt in Hapkido in 2017. Lane took time off from training in order to focus on his academic career. He attends Morton High School and is a part of HAPA (Hammond Academy of Performing Arts) in its acting and musical theatre programs where he has made achievements in performing in multiple plays. He has his eyes set on a future in entertaining and producing in order to inspire people to be who they want to be and make an impact on people’s tastes in what they like and watch. He wants to influence people to open up to new things, and he wants to help teach a new generation of ninjas as he and they work on their own personal journeys.
